Around 300 applications are submitted to Bayesian Methods in Deep Learning Summer School

Application to Bayesian Methods in Deep Learning Summer School is now closed. The school is organized by the International Laboratory of Deep Learning and Bayesian Methods. There are 297 applications from Russian and other countries' citizens, only 100 of them will be accepted. The school will be held in Moscow in August, 2017. 
To submit an application, candidates had to fill the form and to make practical and theoretical tasks. Participation in the school will require good knowledge of machine learning and basic knowledge of deep learning, and tasks are aimed at selecting those participants who will be able to learn the material schools and to whom this material will be useful to work on their projects. Among applicants there are students and graduate students, young scientists, experts in the data analysis from industry, students of related majors (economy, physics, political science, etc.) in which some problems may be solved with the use of neurobayesian models. There are a lot of applications from students and graduates of MIPT, HSE, MSU, many other Moscow universities are represented. In addition to the residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg, applications were submitted by applicants from Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Smolensk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Ulan-Ude, Omsk, Astrakhan, Irkutsk and other Russian cities. Among foreign cities - Paris, London, Dublin, Kiev, Minsk, Zurich, Madrid, Cambridge, San Francisco, Toulouse, Barcelona, Munich. Selection will be completed by May, 31. The school will be hels in Moscow, from 26 to 30 August 2017
