Forms of cooperation with companies:
Student practice
Every year, students undergo internships in companies in order to obtain primary professional skills and abilities. In order for a student to have the opportunity to practice in the company, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the HSE, a template for an internship agreement. In April and May, student meetings are held at which representatives of companies talk about internship opportunities in their organization.

During the internship, a curator from among the company's employees should be appointed to the student, who will also develop an individual task and draw up a calendar schedule. At the end of the internship, the student makes a report in which he tells about what task he solved and what stack of technologies he used. The student's report is signed by the head of the practice from the company, he also makes a review of the student's work and gives an assessment on a 10-point scale.

Project work on the bachelor's degree programs at the Faculty of Computer Science
At the Faculty of Computer Sciencemuch attention is paid to project work. It is included in the curricula of all educational programs. In September and October, companies present to students the ideas of their projects based on real tasks that students can choose as project work. If the demand is high, the company may conduct an additional selection. After that, the Center for Practice and Project Work collects applications for projects. More information about the types of project activities can be found on the website

'' We invite companies to offer their project for team and/or individual work of undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Computer Science of the HSE in the 2020-2021 academic year.

If your company has a formulated task or a new direction for which there are not enough people or time, our students can help solve this problem. Students work on projects within the framework of educational activities and receive an assessment after the defense. Students' work on the project should contribute to the formation of professional competencies. To work with students, the company needs to allocate mentors for the duration of the entire project.

The mentor will have to:

- tell us about the requirements and wishes for the software product/service;

- conduct a series of introductory classes if necessary;introduce students to technical development tools;

- help set up a team development environment if necessary;

- to help manage the project and give feedback to students on the value of certain solutions;

- conduct code review regularly;evaluate the current results of each student's work three times on a 10-point scale;

- make a review of each student's work;take part in the commission for the protection of the project.

In the process of working on the project, the mentor will be able to understand the level and abilities of students well, and students will get acquainted with the company's projects. As a result, you can get a solution to a problem or a task, and attract students you like for an internship in your company.

In October 2020, there will be no traditional offline information meetings. Mentors recruit students for projects until October 31, 2020. From November 1 to May 29, 2020, students are working on projects. You need to fill out a description template

Описание проекта ФКН 2020-2021 (DOCX, 22 Кб) for each of your projects. Examples of descriptions of projects from previous years can be found on the website.

If you are interested in this form of cooperation, please read the information and submit an application. If you have any questions about the topics of projects, the competencies of students of various educational programs and courses, the organization of work on projects or any other questions, we will be happy to answer them.
