Knowledge engineering assists in a number of problems. The focus of the invited session is large-scale systems development based on knowledge engineering. The engineering processes include a number of aspects, such as knowledge acquisition, representation and management. In large-scale systems, knowledge engineering often becomes mission-critical. Advances in knowledge engineering provide better quality of large-scale systems, specifically enterprise systems, and make them more efficient.
