Genetic Computer Workshop at the Fall into ML Conference 2025
On October 24-25, 2025, HSE University held the 4th Fall into ML conference, bringing together researchers, students, and industry professionals working at the forefront of machine learning and AI.

The conference covered topics of interest that spanned a wide range of contemporary machine learning:
- Generative modeling, diffusion models
- LLMs and their applications
- Reinforcement learning
- Machine learning theory, including arrogant statistics, stochastic optimization, federated learning
- Computer vision, robotics, and autonomous systems
Maria Poptsova, PhD, Chair and Head of International Laboratory of Bioinformatics presented a report entitled “OmicsFUSION: GenAI model for encoding, reconstructing, and representing omics and DNA data”.
Attendees were able to learn more on the topic at the “Genetic computer, or AI in bioinformatics” workshop. It combined advanced computational methods and molecular biology for modeling and manipulating the basic programs that control the life cycle of cells. Furthermore, the workshop explored how advanced deep learning techniques can model the reprogramming of genetic programs in response to perturbations, as well as how generative AI architectures create unified representations of multiomic data.
The annual Fall into ML conference remains the central platform for communicating with experts, exchanging ideas, and researching the latest achievements in the field of AI.
