Outgoing Students
Exchange programmes enable students to spend one or two semesters abroad and earn credits at a foreign university. HSE’s partner universities usually agree to waive tuition fees for exchange students. However, visa, travel, insurance, meals, and accommodation expenses must be paid by students themselves. In exceptional cases, certain costs may be covered by HSE.
Students also have an opportunity to participate in grant programmes. In this case, applications for grants are made by students independently to the appropriate organization in agreement with his/her educational office and academic supervisor. In particular, the German fund DAAD actively offers scholarships for semester internships in Germany.
More information on participation in international student programmes is available on Study Abroad site (https://studyabroad.hse.ru/en/) of the HSE Office of Internationalization.
