About the Department

The department was established in 2013 in conjunction with the Institute for Systems Analysis, which is now merged into the Federal Research Center for Computer Science and Control of Russian Russian Academy of Sciences.The name of the department in 2013 - 2016 was "Mathemetical Methods for Systems Analysis", since 2016 - "Intelligent Technologies for Systems Analysis and Control". The head of the department in 2013 - 2018 was Yuri Popkov, since 2018 - Mikhail Posypkin.

 

The involvement of the staff of the Federal Research Centre for Computer Science and Control in teaching and academic supervision of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students extends and complements the research capability of the Faculty, contributes to the holistic organisation of the educational process and increases the number of potential research areas.
