The international scientific conference "Algebraic topology and applications" and the school "Algebraic topology and applications to data analysis" were held in Moscow
In July 2024, the International Laboratory of Algebraic Topology and its Applications organized the international conference "Algebraic topology and applications" (July 15-17) and the accompanying educational and scientific school "Algebraic topology and applications to data analysis" (July 18-19). The conference and school were held in the Higher School of Economics building complex on Pokrovsky Boulevard. The presentations were made by the laboratory staff (Victor Buchstaber, Taras Panov, Georgy Chernykh, Temurbek Rakhmatullaev, Fedor Vylegzhanin), as well as their colleagues from HSE (Anton Ayzenberg), Moscow State University (Dmitry Gugnin, Nikolay Erokhovets), Tomsk State University (Andrei Vesnin), Yaroslavl State University (Denis Golitsyn) and Osaka University (Mikiya Masuda). Students, postgraduate students and staff of HSE and Moscow State University took part in the conference and school. The following lecture courses were given as part of the school:
- Victor Buchstaber, Alexandra Bernadotte "Time Series Unfolding Method, Grassmann Manifolds, and a Neural Interface",
- Andrei Vesnin "Three-dimensional manifolds as double branched coverings of a sphere and Klein coverings",
- Mikiya Masuda "Cohomology and automorphism of a GKM graph"
- Taras Panov "Double homology of moment-angle complexes and bigraded persistent modules".
