Research

In my thesis project I study learning structure of inference machines for computer vision applications. Inference machines provide an alternative to probabilistic graphical models for utilizing contextual information. We believe faster inference and more flexible formulation allow for efficient automatic determination of the model structure, which is hardly the case for graphical models. My advisor is Dmitry Vetrov.

In joint project with Konstantin Nekrasov we develop a graphical model for automatic cellular tissue segmentation. The desired output of the algorithm is the pixel-accurate mask of intercellular space in the image.

I did my Master thesis project in Graphics & Media Lab, it was on semantic segmentation of point clouds.
