10-th Workshop 'Computational linguistics and language science'

The 10-th Workshop “Computational linguistics and language science” will take place on April 24, 2026, in a hybrid format at HSE University (offline at: Moscow, Staraya Basmannaya St., 21/4, as well as online at this link). The main goal of the seminar is to enhance exchange between researchers of natural language and those who create practical applications for its processing. The seminar is organized jointly by the International Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Structural Analysis of the Centre for Language and Semantic Technologies and the School of Linguistics.

Presentations are devoted to the following topics:

  • Linguistic models and formalisms
  • Morphological, syntactic, and semantic text analysis
  • Computational lexicography
  • Development of linguistic resources and systems
  • Information extraction from text (Text Mining, NER, Fact Extraction)
  • Machine translation
  • Sentiment analysis
  • Dialogue agents, Natural Language Generation
  • Text classification, similarity search, measuring semantic proximity
  • Authorship attribution

To submit an application, please send your abstract (no more than 1 A4 page excluding bibliography and appendices, Times New Roman, size 12, single line spacing) to kolmogorov.seminar@yandex.ru by end of April 19, 2026.
