On March 4, 2016 the report of Ignatov D.I. on the topic "Fundamentals of Data Mining and Machine Learning" was given. The meeting was devoted to the main tasks of machine learning and data mining, such as classification, clustering, regression, ranking (for example, recommendation systems), searching for frequent sets (goods, attributes) and associative rules. Some methods for solving these problems have been illustrated in the Orange program (version 2.7).
