International Conferences 2013: ECIR, IJCAI, AIST, FCA4AI

Our department actively participates in organizing international conferences and workshops on formal concept analysis and its applications, computer-assisted learning, information search, and data development.

In March our department and Yandex will hold the 35th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR'13), which is the main event in Europe for the presentation of research results in the information search process. During the conference we organize the workshop ‘Formal Concept Analysis meets Information Retrieval’ on different applications of  formal concept analysis in information search processes.

The 23rd International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI’13), in August in Beijing, also includes a workshop on the applications of the formal concept analysis, organized by our department. It is the second workshop of the series ‘What can FCA do for Artificial Intelligence?’, which bring together researchers of artificial intelligence, and formal concept analysis.

The Second conference AIST’2013 ‘Analysis of Images, Networks, and Texts’ will take place on April 4-6, 2013, in Yekaterinburg. Theoreticians and practitioners of data analysis will meet at the conference. Researchers, working on the development of mathematical models, algorithms, and instruments for data analysis; as well as practitioners, working on the processing and analysis of graphical, text, and other types of structured and unstructured data, are welcome to attend the conference.
