International Research Conference AIST

The International Research Conference AIST on Analysis of Images, Social Networks, and Texts took place at Yekaterinburg.

Staff members of HSE School of Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence Dmitry Ignatov, Ekaterina Chernyak and Rostislav Yavorskiy participated in organizing the conference.

The reports by the following faculty members of the Faculty of Computer science were presented during the event: Associate Professor Elena Bolshakova, Associate Professor Natalia Efremova, Senior Lecturer Ilya Makarov, Associate Professor Sergei Obiedkov, bachelor’s students Mikhail Tokmakov and Lada Tokmakova.

The conference was organized by a consortium of nonprofit organizations, leading universities, research centres, institutes of the RAS, the scientific interests of which are tightly connected with the research and development of the mathematical models for data mining among the algorithms and tools. AIST is also supported by those companies that are engaged in the analysis of graphical, textual, and other structured and unstructured data. This year the articles by researchers from Bangladesh, Belgium, Vietnam, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Tunisia, Ukraine and USA were proposed for peer-review. Programme committee members are researchers and experts from 26 countries.
