Assessment of personal skills based on teamwork

Project completed

Project relevance

Research shows that team composition has a significant impact on performance outcomes. While there are a sufficient number of theories and models aimed at identifying successful socio-psychological combinations of team members' characteristics, very little research attention has been paid to the network structure and dynamics of team interactions.

Project goal

is to adapt existing ranking models to new data to demonstrate the high flexibility of probabilistic ranking models, which may prompt further applications of probabilistic model-based rankings to a wider class of problems.

Project advantages:

  • The research combines important socio-network aspects of team formation, with quantitative assessment of success, based on graph-based probabilistic models.

  • The project contributes to the development of theories of team formation in socio-technical systems that take into account motivational and behavioural aspects by taking into account behavioural patterns, individual success and ranking.

Planned Outcomes:

Optimisation of recruitment and training processes

Simplification of the process of optimising staff scheduling, taking into account various factors
