Seventh Machine Learning in High Energy Physics Summer School 2021

School information 

The Seventh Machine Learning summer school organised by Yandex School of Data Analysis, Laboratory of Methods for Big Data Analysis of National Research University Higher School of Economics, and High Energy Physics Laboratory LPHE at EPFL will be held online from 15th to 30th of July 2021.

The school will cover the relatively young area of data analysis and computational research that has started to emerge in High Energy Physics (HEP). It is known by several names including “Multivariate Analysis”, “Neural Networks”, “Classification/Clusterization techniques”. In more generic terms, these techniques belong to the field of “Machine Learning”, which is an area that is based on research performed in Statistics and has received a lot of attention from the Data Science community.

How to pay the registration fee

The payment link will be open on June, 29. Participation fee is 80 CHF (6600 rubles). You can pay for participation by following the link or by using the bank details in the bank. If you have any questions about payment, write to ntalaikova@hse.ru

The agreement for participation in the event (rus)

  • write the surname and first name (full, as written in passport)
  • put a phone number in the format "+ (country code) phone number"
  • email (the one to which you want to receive payment information)
  • university / organization (full name for official documents)
  1. select the option "participant", read the agreement and click the consent box
  2. To pay for your purchase, you will be redirected to the payment gateway of Sberbank of Russia to enter your card details. The connection with the payment gateway and the transfer of information is carried out in a secure mode using the SSL encryption protocol.
  1. after successful payment, send a check to ntalaikova@hse.ru and mlhep2021@yandex.ru. Email subject "Registration fee - MLHEP2021 - Surname Name"
