Master’s Programme in Math of Machine Learning

The Master’s in Math of Machine Learning, administered jointly by HSE University and Skoltech, trains researchers capable of combining fundamental studies with practical problem-solving in one of the most promising fields—machine learning theory. This area sits at the intersection of mathematics and computer science, incorporating mathematical statistics, machine learning, optimisation, information and complexity theory, and more. Students engage in active research within working groups while preparing their master's theses. The teachers include leading experts from Skoltech and HSE, as well as prominent international researchers.
