On October 22 at 17:00 there will be a talk by Quentin Paris (HSE) on "Some open questions at the "intersection" between optimal transport and statistical learning".
Abstract: This talk will breafly describe the field of optimal transport and show that statistical learning can be represented as an optimal transport problem. We will investigate a few questions related to this representation and describe some potential research perspectives.
The seminar will take place on October 22 (Tuesday), 05:00pm - 07:00pm in room R204, Pokrovsky Boulevard, 11.
