The Faculty of Computer Science invites students to take a mini-course on «Decision Making» by Professor Enes Eryarsoy of Sabanci University (Turkey). He will help to understand this process from a mathematical point of view and avoid common pitfalls.
Enes Eryarsoy is a professor at Business School of Sabancı University. Since 2020, Prof. Eryarsoy has been working as the Director of Sabancı University's Business Analytics for Professionals Master's Program, and he previously taught at Istanbul's Şehir University.

The course will study two main methods of teaching decision making: learning the right approach and learning about people's actual behavior. The course will introduce you to individual and collective decision making and the factors that influence this process.
The course includes the following sections:
- Describing the context and terminology in decision making;
- Establishing a framework and basic terminology;
- Heuristics regarding the decision-making process;
- A set of tools and techniques used in the decision-making process.
