Ella Tyuryumina delivered a report on 15th St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference Primary Therapy of Early Breast Cancer

15th St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference Primary Therapy of Early Breast Cancer» in Vienna, Austria, from 15-18 March 2017.

The international conference organizes since 1978 repeatedly international breast cancer conferences (Primary Therapy of Early Breast Cancer) including the highly respected, now biannually, international breast cancer treatment consensus recommendations since 1978/82 as well as repeated international conferences on “Clinical Cancer Prevention” since 1998 and international symposia about other topics. This year has been outstanding with 3000 delegates from 105 countries from all over the globe.

According toabstract submission result, the scientific committee decided to provide a travel grant for Ella as a young scientist.

 The study about modelling of natural history of breast cancer considering distant metastases processes got a lot of traction among mathematicians and oncologists. After the deep discussions at the conference Ella has summarised international practices and opinions in terms of her research sphere in order to create a comprehensive paper for a respected international magazine.
