Ella Tyuryumina has presented a poster at the 6th Annual Breast Cancer Metastasis Conference in Paradise City, Scottsdale, Phoenix, USA
The Theresa Research Foundation is led by Dr. Matthew Ellis and Dr. Danny Welch. The foundation established a breast cancer metastasis conference as an annual medical conference.
The emphasis on metastatic disease, based on the large, yet unmet clinical need (incurability), distinguishes this conference from other similar forums on breast cancer. The goal of the event is to gather a diverse audience of experts on the treatment of breast cancer in order to create a productive research environment and accelerate the development of therapeutic approaches to help patients with metastatic breast cancer.
Ella Tyuryumina has discussed a poster (Predicting the Earliest Diagnostics Period for the Secondary Distant Metastases Growth Process of Breast Cancer (T1-3N0-3M0) via the Mathematical Models COMPAS and COM-III) with laboratory researchers, oncologists, patient advocates, and patients.
The professors and patients have estimated the poster as a very modern and usefull research. Leading US oncologists mentioned that the developed tools will undoubtedly help increase patient survival. Moreover, Ella Tyuryumina was offered to work together using her model and software in practice in one of the leading cancer research and treatment clinics in the United States (Mayo Clinic).
