Throughout the year, the Research Committee accepts applications for the funding of the participation in research events (summer and winter schools, conferences, and workshops) for the Faculty staff.

To apply, you should enter your Personal Account at the website and apply in the Applications and Reports folder under the link “Research event participation contest”.

Students should submit their applications for participation in a research event abroad no later than forty-five days before the event.

Students should submit their applications for participation in a research event in Russia no later than thirty days before the event.

Funding limits

200,000 ₽ per one applicant (minutes of the Committee).

One applicant can apply once or multiple times within the limit.

In special cases, the limit may be raised at the discretion of the Committee.

Throughout the year, the Research Committee accepts the applications for the research assistants’ recruitment.

Any student interested in new knowledge may become a teaching assistant.

Teaching assistants are paid from the Faculty’s Fund for Academic Development.

A Faculty member can apply for the recruitment of a research assistant if he or she

• does not work at the research unit of HSE University
• receives academic merit bonus of second or third level

Applications should be presented to Ivan Bodnaruk, Executive Secretary of the Committee.

Throughout the year, the Research Committee accepts the applications for the continuing professional development of the Faculty of Computer Science staff.

Detailed information on the supported types of continuing professional development, requirements, application and report forms is given in the Procedures for the organisation of continuing professional development.

Applications should be submitted to the Research Committee on scicom.cs@hse.ru.

After the continuing professional development programme, a report should be submitted to the Committee to scicom.cs@hse.ru.
