Junior Research Fellow Dmitry Ilvovsky attended to CICLING 2018

In the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, from March 17 to 24,the annual international conference on computational linguistics CICLING 2018 was held.

Several hundred researchers from dozens of countries,including the employee of the CS HSE Dmitry Ilvovsky, presented two reports on the analysis of literary textsand the automatic determination of argumentation in textual data on the basis of their discourse structure.Key features of the conference were increased interest in the study of Asian languages ​​and the growing popularityof methods of deep learning in applying to the analysis of texts.
