Three papers by the Yandex Research team (shown in bold below) and our collaborators have been accepted for publication at the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2024).

In collaboration with HSE University, Yandex Research announces the 2024 enrollment for our Machine Learning Residency program. This initiative represents an opportunity for ML enthusiasts at various stages of their academic and professional careers to engage in advanced research in computer sciences.

Dean of HSE University’s Faculty of Computer Science Ivan Arzhantsev, head of the faculty’s Big Data and Information Retrieval School Evgeny Sokolov, and junior researcher at the faculty Gleb Bazhenov took part in the China–Russia Seminar on AI Talent Education and Technology Development in Beijing (PRC). The meeting organised by Yandex was aimed at discussing cooperation between leading Russian universities and China’s Tsinghua University. The university is among the world’s best, ranking first in Asia and 12^th in the world in the international Times Higher Education rating.

Staff members of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science will present 12 of their works at the 37th Conference and Workshop on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS), one of the most significant events in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. This year it will be held on December 10–16 in New Orleans (USA).

In 2022, 17 articles by the researchers of HSE Faculty of Computer Science were accepted at the NeurIPS (Conference and Workshop on Neural Information Processing Systems), one of the world’s most prestigious events in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. The 36th conference will be held in a hybrid format from November 28th to December 9th in New Orleans (USA).
