Members of the department are conducting research in a number of reserch directions in Computer Science and related fields of mathematics. The department is centred around research groups, leading world-class research in the field of machine learning, distributed computing, scalable algorithms for processing large datasets, computer vision, text processing, information retrieval and graphical models. Department staff members are regularly published at prestigious international IT conferences.
