The School of Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence was created in 2014 as part of the Department of Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence. The school consists of world-renowned researchers who actively participate in international research projects.

Open Day: The Future Begins Here
On March 2, an HSE Open Day for prospective undergraduates and specialist students will take place — one of the largest and most significant events for applicants, their parents, and the entire university. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with students and representatives of educational programmes, plan their admission process, and immerse themselves in the HSE University atmosphere for a day. Frank Acquaye is a PhD student atthe Department of Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science, National Research University Higher School of Economics. As part of his postgraduate studies, Frank spent several months inthe Noble Research Lab at the University of Washington, USA, where he did research.

Majid Sohrabi is a 28 year-old student from Iran currently enrolled in a doctoral programme at the HSE University Faculty of Computer Science. Before starting his PhD, he graduated with honours from the university’s Master of Data Science programme. In addition to studying, he also works as an assistant at the School of Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence and a research assistant at the Laboratory for Models and Methods of Computational Pragmatics.
