VIII St. Petersburg Medical Innovation Forum
On May 15-17, 2025, the VIII St. Petersburg Medical Innovation Forum with international participation was held in the Almazovsky Cardiology Center in St. Petersburg.
The VIII St. Petersburg Medical Innovation Forum with international participation is included in the list of scientific and practical events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for 2025 (Order No. 756 of 28.12.2024 "On approval of the plan of scientific and practical events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for 2025").
The event is implemented in accordance with the program of events of the National Center for Medical Research "Center for Personalized Medicine".
An application for accreditation of the VIII St. Petersburg Medical Innovation Forum will be sent to the commission of the Coordination Council for the Development of Continuous Medical and Pharmaceutical Education of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

Maria Poptsova, head of the laboratory, presented a report on "Development of deep learning methods for processing omics data" at the symposium "Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Research"
Maria spoke about the research project "Machine learning technologies in predicting the outcomes of acute coronary syndrome", in which she and her colleagues use deep learning methods for applied purposes. She also shared that this project is part of a large-scale project "Mirror Laboratories" that unites the research resources of the participants, including providing access to equipment and data, allowing the exchange of methods and scientific results, holding seminars and internships.
Since 2023, the International Bioinformatics Laboratory of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, together with the Scientific and Educational Center of the Medical Institute of the BUKhRA "Surgut State University", has been implementing the research project "Machine learning technologies in predicting the outcomes of acute coronary syndrome".
The talk generated a lot of interest from the audience.
