7th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Genomic Sequencing and Editing" (NGS 2019)

May 22 and 23 at the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov hosted the 7th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Genomic Sequencing and Editing" (NGS 2019).

The joint event of the leading Russian scientific centers, service companies and manufacturers of sequencing equipment has become a platform for the exchange of experience for researchers using NGS and CRISPR technologies in their work for 7 years.

As a part of the scientific section, reports of developers and suppliers of equipment, reports on sequencing of prokaryotic genomes, and genome editing systems were considered.

The section on editing the human genome was devoted to the possible ways of impact

on the genome of embryos and somatic cells of the patient.

 

The program committee of the conference includes Mikhail Gelfand, a leading researcher at Bioinformatics lab.
