Agreement on scientific cooperation of March 10, 2021
On March 10, 2021, a scientific cooperation agreement was signed between the members of the «Genetics of cardiovascular diseases» consortium, which included:
- HSE University;
- Federal State Budgetary Institution of Additional Professional Education «Central State Medical Academy» of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation;
- Federal State Budgetary Institution «Central Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic» of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation;
- Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education «Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
- Budget Institution of Higher Education of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra «Surgut State University»;
- Budget Institution of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra «District Cardiology Dispensary» of the Center for Diagnosis and Cardiovascular Surgery";
- Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Northern State Medical University»;
- Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science Institute of Biochemical Physics named after N.M. Emanuel of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Board of the Association of Russian Specialists and Experts in Knowledge Management «KM Alliance».
The goal of the consortium is to create a database of mutations of the population of the Russian Federation in cardiovascular diseases.
Within the framework of the consortium, cooperation is organized with cardiology medical institutions that can provide biomaterials and clinical information about patients, and also with institutions that can perform whole genome sequencing. Bioinformatics processing of large sequencing data, as well as the creation of a mutation database, is taken over by the HSE Faculty of Computer Science.
In the future, the composition of the consortium will only increase. To date, there are discussions about two research organizations joining the consortium.
