The International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA) was held online on December 1-4, 2020.

On December 1-4, 2020, the 16th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA) was held, which was a forum for the exchange of ideas and results between researchers, developers and practitioners working on all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications.

The staff of the International Laboratory of Bioinformatics participated actively in the symposium and provided their publications for further inclusion in the Proceedings.
