Members of the International Bioinformatics Laboratory took part in the Interdisciplinary School-Conference "Information Technologies and Systems" (ITiS 2020), which was held on October 17-18, 2020 at the A. A. Harkevich Institute for Information Transmission Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPPI RAS). The event was held in an online format.

"Information Technologies and Systems" (ITiS) - an interdisciplinary school-conference, that originated in 1966 as an annual conference of young scientists at the A. A. Harkevich Institute for Problems of Information Transmission of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPPI RAS). The tradition of holding ITIS conferences was Interrupted in the 1990s, resumed in 2007 and since then has gone far beyond the IPPI RAS. Every year it brings together more than a hundred young scientists from leading research groups and universities in Russia and abroad. The co-organizers of the ITiS in different years were MIPT, HSE, N. I. UNN. Lobachevsky University (Nizhny Novgorod), I. Kant BFU (Kaliningrad), the Union of Rectors and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan Federal University, Perm Federal Research Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
