On June 22, 2022, the round table of the consortium "Genetics of Cardiovascular Diseases" was held at the Russian Medical Academy for Continuing Professional Education (RMANPO), with the participation of representatives of 11 organizations.

The round table of the consortium "Genetics of Cardiovascular Diseases" was held in a mixed format. The event addressed collaborative projects and mega-grants of the consortium, legal issues related to the consortium's activities, and forthcoming consortium events.

The consortium's purpose is to make it easier to select therapies that take individual mutations into account and to make medicine more personalized.

In order to improve diagnosis and treatment of CVDs, it is necessary to create a centralized and complete catalog of genomic mutations in the Russian population. The goal of the consortium is to compile such a catalog of mutations at the federal level, develop it and apply it in practice, and in the future, create special client services for this purpose.
