Basic and Applied Research; Consulting Projects

The Faculty of Computer Science conducts applied and basic research and does consulting projects for private companies. Faculty members have broad expertise in data analysis, machine learning, bioinformatics, computational linguistics, software engineering, process analysis, and modeling of complex systems. The results of research conducted at the Faculty are published in leading international journals and presented at major conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, UAI, CCS, AAMAS, SISGRAPH, ACL, IJCAR, JCDL, VLDB.

Consulting Services

What it is: providing consulting services as stipulated in the contract

Participants: researchers, faculty members, PhD students, graduate and undergraduate students

Subject of the contract: consulting services

Duration: as per contract

Contract amount: depends on the nature of the project

Project and Training Groups

What it is: a team of academic staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, formed to work on applied projects for companies.

Participants: at least three undergraduate and graduate students of the faculty under the guidance of a teacher

Subject of the contract: research

Duration: up to 6 months

Contract amount: up to 2, 000,000 rubles
