The First International Forum of Genomic and Biomedical Technologies "From birth to active longevity" was held on December 2-3, 2021
On December 2, 2021, the First International Forum of Genomic and Biomedical Technologies "From birth to active longevity" was inaugurated at Surgut State University with the participation of the governor of Yugra Natalia Komarova, as well as the director of the District Department of Education and Youth Policy Alexey Drenin. Its organizers are the government of the district, the Ugra Development Fund and Surgut State University.
The First International Forum of Genomic and Biomedical Technologies "From birth to active longevity" is aimed at bringing the achievements of genomic and biomedical technologies and multi-omics research up to date. Experts at the forum will discuss innovative solutions to ensure active longevity starting with the perinatal regime. "From birth to active longevity" will become a communication platform for research teams whose field is advanced achievements in the field of global health, genomic and personalized medicine. Sections and round tables were held simultaneously on four platforms. Maria S. Poptsova and Elena P. Zbirovskaya represented the International Laboratory of Bioinformatics at the Higher School of Economics.
Maria Poptsova spoke on "Personalized Medicine on the Shoulders of Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence" in the section "Bioinformatics in Genomic Data Analysis for Doctors”.
The forum lasted two days and was attended by scientists from leading Russian genomic genetics centers, academic organizations, medical universities of Yugra and Russia, who presented the achievements of genomic and biomedical technologies, regenerative medicine, as well as research and technology for the development of personalized diagnosis and treatment methods.
