Student practice

Every year, students undergo internships in companies in order to obtain primary professional skills and abilities. In order for a student to have the opportunity to practice in the company, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the HSE, a template for an internship agreement. In April and May, student meetings are held at which representatives of companies talk about internship opportunities in their organization.

During the internship, a curator from among the company's employees should be appointed to the student, who will also develop an individual task and draw up a calendar schedule. At the end of the internship, the student makes a report in which he tells about what task he solved and what stack of technologies he used. The student's report is signed by the head of the practice from the company, he also makes a review of the student's work and gives an assessment on a 10-point scale.

Project work

At the Faculty of Computer Science much attention is paid to project work. It is included in the curricula of all educational programs. In September and October, companies present to students the ideas of their projects based on real tasks that students can choose as project work. If the demand is high, the company may conduct an additional selection. After that, the Center for Practice and Project Work collects applications for projects.
