“How to create and market your product”: meeting with Maxim Kutuzov
The Entrepreneurs Club FCS held a meeting with Maxim Kutuzov, the creator of the Check-In electronic registration service.
At the meeting on May 25, Maxim presented a list of promising professions that will be in demand over the next few years, told about the stages of development of any modern company, as well as about the main tasks of a product manager.
The students shared their experience of developing their own business concepts and talked about the main difficulties on the way to becoming founders. At the meeting, there was even a discussion about the areas of responsibility of the product manager. The meeting ended with an informal conversation during a coffee break.
“One day I woke up and realized that I was a product manager,” says Maxim Kutuzov. His path to the profession began with the foundation of his own startup, so he was happy to share a few tips with the entrepreneurs of FCS, how to turn a startup into a company with the help of competent product management.
At the moment, a product manager is a relatively young profession and there are not so many separate educational programs that train specialists. Maxim shared with the club members the knowledge he acquired while building his own business and launching projects in Silicon Valley. He spoke about the difference between the tasks of a product manager in startups and in large companies, the specifics of working in old and new business models and the general algorithm for solving the tasks of product managers.
The conversation allowed the students to get closer to a full understanding of the professions of a product manager and already understand which way to take the first steps.
We thank Maxim Kutuzov for his cooperation!
