Winter School-Conference on Bioinformatics 2026 held in Voronovo
The annual Winter School-Conference on Bioinformatics was held at the Voronovo UC of the National Research University Higher School of Economics with the participation of the co-organizer, the International Laboratory of Statistical and Computational Genomics, which was attended by more than 150 people from the HSE, IITP RAS, Skoltech, Moscow State University, and MIPT. HSE Scientists Develop DeepGQ: AI-based 'Google Maps' for G-Quadruplexes
Researchers at the HSE AI Research Centre have developed an AI model that opens up new possibilities for the diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases, including brain cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Using artificial intelligence, the team studied G-quadruplexes—structures that play a crucial role in cellular function and in the development of organs and tissues. The findings have been published in Scientific Reports.

Cardiogenetics of the Future: Sequencing Helps Treat Heart Disease
