Announcement of summer internships at Yandex 2021

In the summer, students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courses will undergo training or industrial practice. We strive to ensure that practices are conducted in leading IT companies.

In April 2021, we will hold meetings where we will talk about practices, your actions, deadlines, and necessary documents. Already now you can think about the place of internship. With proper paperwork, an internship in an IT company can be counted as an internship.
Today we want to announce a competition for participation in summer internships at Yandex 2021.

What areas of internships will there be this year:

• backend development;
•  frontend development;
• machine learning; 
• analytics; 
• mobile development;
• and other areas 

What you need to know and be able to: 
All trainees need excellent knowledge of basic algorithms and data structures, as well as the ability to write code in one of the programming languages. Other requirements depend on the direction. For example, an analyst needs to know mathematical statistics and Python well, and an ML developer needs to know the basic methods of machine learning and their application in practice.

Internships are possible in three ways: 

• internship during the year; 
• summer internship; 
• the Deep Dive program on the Bootcamp system.

All internships are possible in full-time or remote format - depending on the epidemiological situation. Applications are accepted until May 31.
