Announcement of summer internships at JetBrains 2021

In the summer, students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courses will undergo training or industrial practice. We strive to ensure that practices are conducted in leading IT companies.
In April 2021, we will hold meetings where we will talk about practices, your actions, deadlines, and necessary documents. Already now you can think about the place of internship. With proper paperwork, an internship in an IT company can be counted as an internship.
Today we want to announce a competition for participation in summer internships at JetBrains 2021.

What is important to know this year:

  • The contest starts on March 29 and will be held in веб-приложении internship.jetbrains.com.
  • Deadline for submitting applications and solving test tasks: April 11 at 23:59.
  • Internship areas: developers, researchers, marketers, support, testers, designers, and even HR!
  • Internship format: remote, from July 1 to August 27, fulltime.
By tradition, the internship organizers will publish a full list of projects with descriptions in the web application, and students will be able to choose those that are interesting to them. In order not to miss anything, we recommend that you immediately register with the Jetbrains application and fill out your profile.

Also this Wednesday, March 24 at 18:00 (Moscow time), representatives of Jetbrains will hold a webinar about internships broadcast on YouTube. Speakers will tell you how internships are arranged, how the competition is held, what results can be expected, and also answer questions from listeners that can be asked in the chat.
And on March 26, at 18:00, Jetbrains will hold an online lecture in the IT lecture hall of the FCN on the topic "Machine learning on source code".

At the lecture, the speakers will tell you why the analysis of source code using machine learning methods is not such a simple thing and will demonstrate several examples of pipelines for solving software engineering problems. After the lecture, the speakers will talk about summer internships at JetBrains: what will be the rules and deadlines for recruitment in 2021, where to learn about this year's topics and projects, how to get acquainted with internship managers, etc. Also, after the lecture, the speakers will answer all the questions of the audience.
To participate in the lecture, please register in the IT lecture form at the link.

An hour before the start of the event, you will receive a link to Zoom by email.
