The Faculty of Computer Science was created with the goal of becoming one of the world’s leading faculties for developers and researchers in data analysis, machine learning, big data, theoretical computer science, bioinformatics, system and software engineering, system programming, and distributed computing. In cooperation with major companies like Yandex, Sberbank, SAS, Samsung, 1C, and many others, the Faculty provides both deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience in many branches of contemporary computer science.
The HSE Bachelor’s programme in Data Science and Business Analytics invites you to the online Open Day for prospective students. You will meet the Academic supervisor, London School of Economics convenor, as well as our lecturers and international students. They will discuss the programme curriculum, our graduate’s career opportunities and student life at the HSE and in Moscow. The event will take place on April 4 at 12.00 Moscow time.
The double degree Bachelor’s programme offered by HSE University and the University of London aims to train analysts and data scientists in modern methods of machine learning, software development, working with big data and developing analytical models for business. The London School of Economics and Political Science partially developed the curriculum and all courses are carried out in English. The overall curriculum is multidisciplinary and covers a wide range of subjects from economics to machine learning. Upon graduation, students receive two BSc diplomas: a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from HSE University and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of London. All courses are carried out in English.
