Faculty of Computer Science Invites Applications for Assistant Professor Positions

Faculty of Computer Science of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia invites applications for full-time, tenure-track positions of Assistant Professor in all areas of computer science including but not limited to programming language theory, software engineering, system programming, algorithms, distributed and parallel computation, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Knowledge of Russian is not required, as teaching and research are both conducted in English.

Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics or related fields, or to be within a year of completion at the time of application. The successful candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research publishable in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences with research support provided by the University. The appointments will be made for three years in the first instance, starting in September 2017, with reviews of teaching and research during the third year.

The deadline for accepting application materials is November 15, 2017.
