Semester in Moscow

Opening all of HSE’s English-taught programmes to visiting undergraduate and graduate students, the programme “Semester in Moscow” offers a wide array of courses across disciplines. Students have the opportunity to create their own curriculum drawn from a wide array of courses offered by the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

Undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled at other universities can spend up to two semesters at HSE University through “Semester in Moscow” as visiting students and earn transferable ECTS credits. Faculty of Computer Science also participates in the programme offering its English-taught courses. Programme advisors are available to help students design a curriculum customized to their own interests and goals.

There are many benefits to studying at the HSE, both inside and outside the university. Students will be able to explore Moscow, Russia’s thriving capital, and learn about its captivating history, as well as traveling to nearby destinations like the Golden Ring and St. Petersburg. They will get a valuable, practical, hands-on insight into another culture.
