Starting from 2025, HSE University applicants will be able to enrol in a Bachelor's programme in Game and Digital Product Development—the only programme of its kind in Russia. The course will combine design, programming, mathematics, production, management, and marketing. It will enable students to master the full cycle of digital product development from creation to effective promotion. The programme is taught in Russian.

On March 2, an HSE Open Day for prospective undergraduates and specialist students will take place — one of the largest and most significant events for applicants, their parents, and the entire university. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with students and representatives of educational programmes, plan their admission process, and immerse themselves in the HSE University atmosphere for a day. The event will be held in Russian.

This year, HSE University will open admission to ten new bachelor's programmes. Three of them—Architecture, Game and Digital Product Development, and Chemistry of New Materials—have recently been approved by HSE University's Academic Council. Here, we provide more details on these programmes.

In 2024, the online Russian-taught master’s programme ‘Artificial Intelligence,’ offered by the HSE Faculty of Computer Science, saw a record number of first-year students—over 300. On March 12, HSE University will hold a university-wide Open Day for prospective students of bachelor’s and specialist programmes. The event will be held in the Pokrovka Building and will feature presentations by faculties and campuses, a talk by the Admissions Office, activities from student organisations, a tour of the university’s historical buildings and much more.
