1С: Scholarship
The 1C Company specializes in development, distribution, publishing, and support of mass-market software. 1C: Enterprise is one of 1C’s most well-known programme systems. The system offers Enterprise Resource Planning (EPR) solutions designed for companies and organizations looking to efficiently manage their business functions and streamline their business operations.
In April 2019, Boris Nuraliev, founder and CEO of the 1C Company, joined the FCS Board of Trustees. The Faculty of Computer Science is currently running two 1C optional courses: Programming Technology and Meta-programming.
The 1C Company also proposes topics for projects, term papers, and theses. Based on the merit of their projects or written works, select students can receive scholarships for the following academic year.
The 1С: Scholarship is awarded for outstanding team projects, individual term papers, programming projects, and final research projects suggested by the 1C Company. Students must be nominated for the scholarship by their academic supervisors or mentors. Scholarship recipients are then determined by a Competition Committee which includes representatives from the 1C Company and the Faculty of Computer Science. The Competition Committee is appointed annually by the Faculty Dean. The scholarship is paid monthly, from September 1 to August 31. It may be awarded to undergraduate students in their first to third year, fourth-year undergraduate students who have decided to pursue a master’s degree at the Faculty, and first-year master’s students.
No more than ten scholarships will be granted in total, including:
- up to five scholarships of RUB 20,000 each; and
- up to five scholarships of RUB 10,000 each.
All application materials must be submitted by June 1.
