Financial Technologies and Data Analysis (FinTech), a joint Master’s programme from HSE University’s Faculty of Computer Science and Sberbank, will have its fifth graduation this summer. The programme opened in 2017 and has become a major educational project for both the university and Sberbank. Students, partners, and teachers of FinTech explained what the programme is and why it is worth enrolling in.

On February 5, the finals and award ceremony of the VK Cup ‘22/23 IT championship took place. The competition comprised two qualifying stages and one final stage. There were more than 5,000 applications for the qualifying stages, with a total of 80 participants making it to the finals.

The English-taught Master's programme ‘Master of Data Science’ run by theHSE Faculty of Computer Science and its industrial partner, Yandex, brings together students from more than 30 countries. The programme is implemented completely online. Among the graduates of the second intake of the programme are Calvin Tee from Singapore and Lyubov Sharaborina from Moscow, Russia.

On February 1, the IDAO 2022 was launched. The HSE Faculty of Computer Sciences, Yandex and Otkritie Bank (platinum partner) are holding it for the fifth time. The first round of the olympiad will be held in an online format on Yandex.Contest - an online platform for organizing programming competitions.
