For he is a student of a joint doctoral school and works together with Italian researchers. He talks about his research and how to organise a joint doctoral school.

Students Rate how Effectively Their Academic Programmes Are Managed

Laboratory of Bioinformatics organised the first international summer school in bioinformatics. The school was held online on August 24-28.

Any student or 2020 graduate of a Russian or international university is eligible to take part in the Student Research Paper Competition. Papers can be submitted from September 1 to October 15. The competition has been held at HSE University since 2003.

Laboratory of Methods for Big Data Analysis (LAMBDA) of the Faculty of Computer Science, HSE University held the sixth summer school on Machine Learning in High Energy Physics (MLHEP) on July 16-30. The school was organised in cooperation with Yandex School of Data Analysis and EPFL High Energy Physics Laboratory. This year the school was listed as an official EPFL course with 4 ECTS credits awarded to the participants successfully passing the school requirements.

The Joint Department with 1C will train highly qualified engineers and developers with mathematical expertise, strong research profiles, and a fluency in modern software tools. Department graduates will be able to effectively solve both system-related and applied problems in business automation.

Faculty of Computer Science thrives and flourishes even during the pandemic. We have already told you how the Faculty switched to distance learning . However, the Faculty is a research centre as well as the educational one. It comprises twelve laboratories researching into data science, theoretical computer science, process-oriented information systems, bioinformatics, financial technologies, and other fields of study. We want to tell you about the progress of research at the Faculty of Computer Science during the first half of 2020.

Over the last decades, the International Mathematics Competition for University Students has acquired universal fame and recognition, as well as sponsorships from companies like Huawei and Wolfram. Every year, hundreds of participants from around the globe meet in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria to compete.
